Batesville-based First Community Financial Services, operating within First Community Bank, has announced the appointment of Eric Rownd as vice president, financial advisor. Based at the 11 Prospect Court office in Cabot, Rownd will extend his services to the Little Rock and Conway markets.

“The bank model for financial advising always made sense to me,” Rownd said. “To make the shift, it had to be a bank that prioritizes clients, values its people and fosters a family-like environment. First Community Bank embodies these principles, and joining them feels like coming home. I am thrilled to be part of First Community Bank.”

Rownd specializes in financial planning, investment management, retirement, legacy and tax planning. With a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and 16 years of experience in the financial industry, he holds series 7 and 66 licenses, insurance licensures and is currently licensed in 12 states.

By coaching baseball and softball, serving on boards and taking on leadership roles, Rownd actively supports and engages with their passions, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.

“We are delighted to welcome Eric aboard, and I eagerly anticipate his valuable contributions to enhancing the financial well-being of our customers and the community at large,” said David Wood, executive vice president, market president for the Searcy and Cabot regions of First Community Bank. “His extensive experience and commitment align seamlessly with our dedication to delivering exceptional service and fostering financial prosperity for our clients and the communities we serve.”
