Independent and hybrid RIAs are gaining advisors faster than broker-dealers, according to a study published Monday by Cerulli Associates.
The research firm found that over the past decade, the number of advisors working at independent RIAs had a compound annual growth rate of 5.2%. Over the same period, the number of independent RIA firms grew by 2.
