Vanguard’s Rampulla to Retire. Firm Taps New Leader for Advisor Services.

Tom Rampulla, managing director and head of Vanguard’s Financial Advisor Services division, is retiring after 35 years at the company. 

Vanguard said it will promote Amma Boateng to lead the unit and join the company’s senior leadership team on Jan. 1. Boateng is currently head of the broker-dealer channel within Financial Advisor Services (FAS).
