Job overview:

The Vice President, Finance will play a key leadership role on the FP&A team supporting the Investor & Investment Solutions / Product division. As a trusted business partner, you will be responsible for driving and creating analyses, management reporting, robust forecasts, and ultimately making recommendations that help business and finance executives make informed decisions and improve profitability. The team is integrally involved in strategic investment analysis, including supporting growth initiatives and business case analysis. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a combination of strong business acumen, corporate finance knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between FP&A and the Investor & Investment Solutions / Product division

  • In partnership with the business, review operating expense results, identify variance explanations & resulting action items, and lead the forecasting & budgeting planning processes

  • Drive and review financial related models to ensure they are both accurate and periodically updated to reflect business dynamics

  • Play a key role in the development of the Trading driver-based, volume forecasting models to effectively support resource planning needs

  • Effectively interact with all levels of Product and Finance leadership, including the CFO and IIS executive 

  • Drive continuous improvement in all financial related processes, leveraging technology and staff resources

  • Oversee the delivery of accurate, compelling, and effective financial presentations

  • Coach and develop team members on technical and general business skills

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline

  • 10-12 years’ experience working in progressively dynamic roles within Finance, FP&A, or Strategy

  • 4 + years of management experience

  • Financial Services industry experience

  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to take complex factors and create relevant, concise summaries to support finance and business unit decisions

  • Experience managing and motivating a team

  • Flexible and adaptable to change; ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Client centric and commitment to identifying opportunities to continually improve the underlying processes & resulting output

Preferences:

Pay Range:

$123,800-$185,700/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
